Longest day - think I'll ride north!

Headed for Durness for a night under canvas, taking the long way via the Gairloch loop . . .

After refuelling me & the bike at Ullapool I avoided the “Silly Wee Road” and took the big road north . . .

Nice evening at the Sango Bay site chatting with a few of the many riders that were there, “doing” the NC500. Even managed a quick swim in the sea – quick cos it was a bit nippy .

Sunday - rain came on as I was taking down the tent – doesn’t it always – but it eased then stopped as I headed east then south. First round Loch Eribol . . .

Then onto the wee road down the side of Loch Hope, which is in really shitty condition, then into the shadow on Ben Hope. Local housing is in the same state as most of the road!

Cracking day away – 1st long run on the G310 fully loaded and life at that bikes pace is kinda nice

Nice one Steve. I must work another Scotland trip on the bike again soon. I haven’t since the last time when I hooked up with you and John. 3 years ago??.
