Mini Meet north Wales May 20-22nd

A little get together in North Wales. We used this Llyn Gwynant Campsite before and the location is nice.Lots of good roads in the area.Shop is a short distance away but the ride to the shop is ace :cool2: :cool2:
Meet on Friday,have a BBQ,a few drinks and on Satrday a little bimble trough wales :cool: Sunday going home time

That's the campsite where we had that near hurricane thing where all the tents blew down, wasn't it? That was a nice site. :)

Mmmm, will see. It's Craig's adv Scotland's out west rally the weekend after and I was planning to spend about a week getting there the long way round. But, nothing set in stone yet.

Yeah, some of us didn't but have decent tents. :D I just remember it as quite a breezy weekend with brilliant sunshine all the way from Harwich to Betws-y-coed and lots of wind and rain in that valley. ;)

I was at that campsite this weekend, it was the site for this years Dragon Rally. It was very windy in the morning (and cold) but it's a site with great views and countryside.

That's the one I came home from and spent the next three weeks in bed with flu!!

I promised myself I'd get away camping more this year I fancy this with you loons. So I'm putting in a Tentative as it's just after we come back from Cuba. :thumbsup:

I agree,

But didn't Cabby's toy town tent stand up to the blast ? :D
I also remember leaning into the wind most of the way home :lol:
