    I've been working on this for a while and have had to take some liberties with a couple of them and translate a couple of others but as it's all for fun i don't expect that to pose too much of a problem. So,

    A = Art installation
    Art installation.JPG

    B = Brewery (translates as " Brasserie" so it's still B)
    Brewery.JPG

    C= Cityscape
    Cityscape.JPG

    D= Distillery ( translates as Alambic, but there aren't any here any more, except travelling ones which are very rare and it's too late in the season anyway. Once apon a time every village in a wine region had its own still for making "eau de Vie". the pic is of the shed that USED to be the village still, or distillery.)
    distillery....JPG

    E= East ( Est) Hotel de l'Est, St Florentin.

    I = Italian
    Italian.JPG

    J= Joke ( I really struggled with this but then just blatently and unashamedly copied someone elses idea of a joke hous or "Folly" so here's a joke castle)

    Underground.JPG

    Victory.JPG

    W = West. ( struggled for ages with this one, it was the last one I got this afternoon after much searching) West.jpg

    X = X rated
    X rated.JPG

    Y = Yankee ( the first one I got, still riding the tralp. A memorial to the yankee airmen of a B52 that crashed here in 1945)
    Y= Yankee ( B17 memorial).JPG

    Z = Zoo ( a little poetic licence... it's a "parc zoologique"
    Zoo ( parc zoologique).JPG

    OK, now what did I win...?:D

    Well done Moon. Looks like you had some fun thinking that through and getting the pics. I guess the new tiger re-motivated you. Looks good. Your prize is a thumbs up from me

    glad you like it, it was the furthest I had to ride for a pic but I really struggled finding any reference to Yankee here and then I remembered having heard that there was an association who make it their business to maintain the memory of the yankee sacrifice during the war so i looked them up...

    I was originally planning on trying to do the whole thing in a single day and actually got as far as planning the route but then life got in the way. i then discovered of course that some of the pics planned just weren't doable or the object in question didn't exist anymore, but it would've added an extra dimension... around 400km in my case.
