I'll be sending out directions etc to get to my place in a wee while ( you know where I am Vader ?? )
There will be plenty space, no need to camp.

What's the deal with the Durness campsite. Is there a pub nearby for food or do I have to drag my cooking gear up just for the one night?

There is a pub and restaurant 20yds from the camp site.

Even you can't mess that up after a couple of babychams

The weather up here for the past week has been really great, biggest problem for me at the moment is trying to keep the dust down on site . Just hope it hangs on until the weekend.

So that's Vader and Whealie staying at mine on Thursday night and PaulS coming round Friday morning to ride up together. We hope to meet up with Alba somewhere near Edinburgh and if Outrunner is coming then as we are passing through Selkirk it would be shame not to hook up with him as well.

Aiming to leave mine at about 8.30am so north side of the Forth road bridge at about 12 to 12.30 and Inverness via the A9 at about 4.30 to 5.30. All depending on traffic and stops. Anyone who is travelling up and wants to meet en-route do get in touch.

Broke down on M11 - AA home. Bugger! Cracking day too. Going to work on the bike instead today to see if I can work out what went wrong.

I hope your bike gets fixed ok Chris. Pete got here at about 2.30, it was 25degreesC then and just as sunny now. But I think it's due to change.

If you fix your bike you could razz up here. I will leave the back door open.
