One will have to go before too long though, there’s really not enough room in the garage.

Nice trio Austin,
I've been having a Guzzi itch for some time now, I did try a V7 some time ago but it banged & jarred like a jack hammer so it put me off a bit, it may have been just that particular bike. I may try another one sometime in the future

I’ve had two V7s as loaners from Teasdales. The first was a 750 and as well as having really crap suspension was underpowered and uncomfortable. The second was the newer 850 engine which night and day different in all respects. I like it. I Believe the newer E5+ versions are another huge step forward.

This is a good review from some experienced heads….

Thanks for the info Austin, I must admit, the NTV 650 was better in many respects than the '18 reg 750 V7, frumpy looks aside

To be fair, all v7s are well out of my nominal 1-1.5k price range anyway so it'd have to really really blow me away to squeeze any extra £££s out of my clenched white knuckles..... The Breva looks an ok budget entry to Guzzi ownership but tbh, bike stuff is on hold for the foreseeable so it's largely irrelevant for the time being anyway.

The NTV 650 is not that bad is it? Oh wait you mean the Deauville... :iconmrgreen:
The naked one is a fine and underappreciated little road bike, great engine obviously, though perhaps a bit too little for the likes of you and me. My dad had one for a while, they're good fun if you can shoehorn your legs onto it somewhere.

This is the NTV650, predecessor to the Deauville confusingly named the nt650v.

The NTV is an utterly fantastic bike, simple rugged fun brilliance, the 650 Deauville is in a class of one and, err, good at what it does!
