North Wales weekend

Saturday myself, Ian and Andy set out in the rain to head for Nantcol waterfalls camp site, just north of Barmouth. The weather and forecast didn't look good but hey ho.....

The weather really turned for the better whilst on route, and we all had a really great weekend. Sunday we headed down to Devils Bridge (fantastic roads!) and a general bimble about. Monday we headed north to Caenarfon. All of us on our new bikes, which couldn't be more different! Ian on his Triumph Scrambler, Andy on his 1150r Rockster and my Tiger 800. They all performed faultlessly and suited each of us well.

We're now planning the next weekend.


Oh and we found Russ' boat in Barmouth harbour....

Thanks for a brill weekend away guys, really enjoyed it.

I'm mega pleased with the Scrambler, performs and handles far better than it should and sounds absolutely amazing

The brakes are now more than up to the job now they are bedded in and the suspension isn't too bad now I've got it set up more to my liking so I think this bike is here for the long term.

Very enjoyable weekend thanks to ian and rob. interesting comparing
the differant bikes. I had great fun and learnt a lot ( swear words and insults mostly ).
