Here's what I've been upto tonight in 'badgers corner' ....

Putting the handles on my panniers I built.

Total cost is about £90. Not bad for a couple of Saturday mornings.

That looks like really nice work.

What frames will they be fitted to?

Bike came with touratech frames. I'll be making sorting brackets out in the next few days, then a spot of welding to add locks to the frames and its all done.

Quite pleased how they came out.

Fair enough. Do keep us all informed.

Did you take any photos of the build process? I'm sure that you can guess what's coming next can't you? :D

Not really, I think I've got a couple before they went for powder coating.
Yeah, a build thread. Unfortunately I was really restricted on time in the workshop, else I was planning on it.

Maybe on the next set.....

Wish I had the patients and skill to do things like this. They are brilliant. I still can't even find a rack at a price I want to pay, nevermind panniers. :(

Yep, a build thread was what I was alluding to. You have also answered my next question - paint or powder coat.

Yes you can advertise on them.... for a small monthly fee.

I'm pleased with them Russ, should hold a bit more than the throw-overs last year.
Won't be worrying that someone's in them when we stop either.

Pretty easy build to be honest. Couple of folds could have been better, but they'll only get battered on the bike anyway.
Does help having access to the right gear.

If you need more practice with them folds you could always make another set for me :thumbsupanim:
But please make me a rack first.
God loves a trier, hope you do too lol.

Lol, there are lots of people that are 'trying' on this site....

You should have a go, its not that difficult really.

Normally I would, but after my spill last year I'm just struggling a bit with stuff like that.
Thanks for the reply though.
I was only being cheeky ;)
