A little run out today to tick a couple of these off (although not as many as planned!)

En route to one of Englands few Distillerys - The Lakes Distillery;

I got sidetracked to a mining museum (closed!)

Going Underground..?

Nearby, a site labelled as King Kong, a kind of graveyard for excevators, my kind of thing full of big rusty machines, unfortunately nothing for the A-Z but I went in took a couple of pics anyway...

There is a kind of shade of pink on the bodywork of this beauty!

Some nice scenery, with a touch of snow;

I hoped to find some Rapids... I mean it is the Lake District on a wet winters day....
Nice scenery but hardy roaring!

The weather fared as I left the lakes, time for a brew & butty at Devils bridge then onto my next.....

I missed out on this one, on a previous GDL, time to tick off an Art sculpture thing.
The Ringing Singing Tree near Burnley;

Quite a pleasant but eerie sound with the breeze.

Good one Phil. You got a couple of sites I had planned - singing ringing tree and Lakes Distillery. I will have a re-think. I think the Giant excavator would have counted for G -Giant. But too late now, No editing the post.

To be fair Stuart, you don't need a pic of the bike in the shot.
Technically, I should have posted a mug shot instead of the bike but I thought a shot of the sweaty crotch of my leathers may be more appealing, thats if you require evidence of my presence at Pembrey [emoji2]

Anyway, the bike wouldn't fit through the door at the top of the stairs

All in all a nice run out. Taking in the Woodhead, vale of York, Howardian Hills, vale of Pickering, North Yorks Moors and to the coast.
Not a bad days work!

Yes, it would seem that time pressures are looming, not just the inevitable but also a forthcoming project & a couple of other things pushed me to get this boxed off sooner than originally planned.

I wanted to try to avoid too many signposts & roadsigns ultimately but succumbed to the easy option!
