Sleeping bag.

I like the look of this. Any idea the length of it? Don't want to buy a bag that's too small. I also have the Euro 500, advised by Borris a year or two back. Has served me well. Small pack size and light. Only issue now is that its started to lose its filling. More weathers on the inside of the tent than in the bag. It has had a hard couple of years so no complaints from me. Just time for a new winter bag before the frosts start. The Rab900 at £165 looks ideal........just need to know the length. Im 6 foot 5.

Well I'm 6'1.
I've not actually used it in anger but I have clambered in it and It feels a good bit longer than the Eurohike 500. It also feels a tad narrower but that may be down to the bulk of the extra down.

Not unexpectedly it also puffs up substantially bigger then the 500. If you want I can get them out and put them side by side for some measurements

If you could please, that would be great. If its the same length as the Euro500 Ill go ahead and buy one. Also, how about the pack size and weight when compared to the Euro?

Thanks

It (the Rab) is longer by about four or five inches. Width wise it is pretty much exactly the same but the Rab 900 is bulkier so feels a little neater across the shoulders. Bear in mind I bought the X-Long Rab though

Weight wise the Rab is, as expected, about 400g heavier

Packed size wise it's difficult to say as they come in different sized packs but stuffing them both in identical (OK apart from the colour) drybags the difference is obvious. Rab in Orange, Eurohike in black. For info the Eurohike packed below is 20cm x 27cm.

That's for that Boris. Its too big for me, pack size wise. The Euro hike fits in my restricted luggage option (just). I use a giant loop coyote most of the time and it doesn't hold a lot. got my packing down to the bare essentials. But I do manage to squeeze a Rab jacket in so will stick with my current setup for this winter and just wear my jacket to bed!
