A few photo's from last weekends wet weather endurance test
Thursday morning - Me, surrounded by mizzle, having a brew en-route to the rally - note fishermans standard foul weather leggings
Had to wait a whole 5 minutes for a couple of these tourist to pass through
Friday - not one photo of overcast skies persisting down on the few early arrivals . . . . . . or all of the others that bravely turned up during a truley foul day
Saturday Morning - the wind has dropped and the clouds are slowly clearing

Africa Jims "Glamping" set up
Travelled as far west as one can on mainland Scotland, along with a few fellow campers . . .
This set up used too provide all the compressed air for . . . . .

The view to Mull from Kilchoan
My riding companions and I endured the delights of really great coffee & pastry in the Puffin cafe in Kilchoan before heading back to Strontian on luverly dry roads and only occasionally encountering a really stupid tourist . . . or two
I had elected, seeing as the afternoon had been dry and my tent was dry, to pull up my pegs and head off home in the dry (Sunday was supposed to be as dire, weather wise, as Friday).
Said my farewells to those that were back from the many venues people has elected to ride to on the day and headed for the 1800hrs ferry.
My view whilst waiting for the ferry to get to my side of the water
Stopped shortly after topping the bike up in Fort Bill for a brew and some nibbles. This was my view as I supped and nibbled . . .
Despite, or maybe even because of the weather, I think everyone that made it and hung around enjoyed themselves.
And finally to all that made it to the site, for however long - Thanks for your company and the craic.
