Off to BMF (but in car as the intention is to pick up some knock down gear, hopefully). Got out on Morag for a short spontaneous bimble yesterday round the local roads- would have been rude not to, given how gorgeous the weather was.

I would do Chris but at nearly £20 each to get in for the day I can't justify the expense.

Had a great day out in the sunshine.

We took a cross country route to the Yonderman, then after 'breakfast' headed out via Ladybower, Snake Pass, Goyt Valley and back down to Milldale for ice creams before heading for home again.

All in about 120 miles for us.

Looking forward to the next time.

it's a bugger they close the road past the reservoir at weekends during the summer,

we found another way round though to pick up the Bigtrailie route
