Undercrackers

Even the thinnest merino leggings I can find and in a short 3/4 length are much too warm when the temperatures really rise under my goretex trousers. I tried not wearing anything except my M&S briefs but my skin sticks horribly and uncomfortably to the trouser's lining so it seems I definitely need something under. I have been looking at cycling or running type lycra shorts but they have gone all technical and expensive since I last bought anything like that. A pair of Knox Jesse shorts look decent although a bit more than I wanted to spend but could be worn off the bike by the looks of things. https://www.planet-knox.com/product/jesse-baselayer-shorts/

Anyway, any thoughts? What do you wear?

Or there are Motoskiveez which at £59 a pair are even more. Some people rave about them, others say waste of money.

Austin, I swear by the EDZ Merino shorts that I wear on the bike summer and winter. They also are not cheap at £22 a pair but do the job for me as I find them very comfy, fairly light weight with flat seams and I never find them sticking to my skin unlike normal shorts which tend to get all clingy and chafe a bit after a while. Not saying they are the best thing for you, but they work for me. Another plus is if you are camping for a while they are easily washed and dry very quickly.

Tend to wear lightweight walking trousers ( karrimor, craghopper). You can unzip the bottom half of the legs
to have just shorts and can be used off the bike as well. As andy said as well they dry really quick.

Jeez Tone. I showed it to Anne and she wouldn't give me the computer back. Any other colours?
