I need to sell rather than want to sell….

2019 V85TT. 38,700 miles (may go up a bit) but in superb condition. Never been commuted and only used in winter on clean dry days. Owned by me from new. Supplying dealer service history from new to 2023, home serviced 2024 & 2025.

There’s 3 options to purchase:
  1. The bike with all the extras and accessories listed below. £6,999
  2. The basic bike with limited extras for £4500
  3. Pick n mix the basic bike plus the extras and accessories you want from the list at the end of the advert at the prices stated.
The bike

2019 V85TT (E4 for the avoidance of doubt) in Rosso Evocative. Supplied by Teasdales on 15th June 2019. All paperwork available. 38,700 miles and will go up a bit but once a sale is agreed I will consider it yours and it won’t be used. Mot until 9 April 2026. - out of sync with its age as I was going on a long trip covering the Mot expiry so did it early. Currently fitted with tubeless wheels (an upgrade) with good Road 6 tyres with another 3-4,000 in them (but see purchase options). Brake pads less than 4,000miles so another 10-15,000 miles out of them. Last serviced March 2025. Condition I would describe as 4/5. It’s not brand new perfect but everyone comments on how good it is. I’ve mainly used it for quite long trips and tours in the UK and Europe. It’s been everywhere, with the last 3,500 mile long trip concluding in mid-June faultlessly. I’m only selling as I do a lot with a pillion and associated luggage and after 6 years finally decided a few extra horsepower are needed realistically.

The only negative points are a a bit of paint peeling on the front cover and the right hand switch gear but you have to look hard to spot either of these. There’s obviously age and mileage related rubs and marks but nothing anyone should be concerned about. Overall it’s clean and corrosion free. I’ve looked after it as a long term keeper. Any nuts bolts or fasteners I’ve ever removed are greased for the future, hidden stuff gets a smear of acf50 when I reassemble anything. The bike has let me down once when I got a bit giddy with a jet wash that still had the powerful attachment on and water got in the electronic throttle. I replaced rather than mess about trying fix an item not designed to be fixed.

I fell off the bike in 2021 on spilt oil. The bike slid down the road on its right hand side and was subject to an insurance claim. The damage was just scrapes and slide damage, there was no impact with anything other than the road as it went down at about 50mph. The bike was still rideable immediately afterwards but there was a lot of bent and scraped bits. It was not written off and was repaired with all new items at Teasdales - levers, pedals, guards, pegs, bars, painted panels, indicators, etc etc. I can confirm the crash bars do their job protecting the engine. There’s absolutely no sign of crash damage now.

All in all a very nicely presented bike with all the recommended upgrades and everything you need to go touring.

The bike more less as it stands today for £6,999

Moto Guzzi accessories bought at purchase fitted by the dealer

Fog lights and mounting kit

Heated grips

High comfort seat (+25mm iirc). This is what has been fitted since about 600miles. Standard seat included.

Top box and mounting bracket. (I’ve removed this as I was planning to use a huge Givi box so pics will show a Givi top box bracket. I will refit the MG top box.)

Crash bars

Centre stand

MIA device for Bluetooth connectivity through the TFT screen. The mapping licence has long expired.

Ordered from Moto Guzzi after purchase and fitted by the dealer

Tubeless wheels and flange.

Touring screen

Post-purchase Aftermarket Accessories

Bumot panniers system, including tool box and QD twin bottle carrier.

Mistral full exhaust system: big bore headers, decat centre pipe, Carbon fibre conical end can (rare), Mistral V twin boost plug, Mistral velocity stack and K&N air filter. Together these give a noticeable increase in power as well as a good sound. (note oem can is fitted at the moment as it’s quieter/softer for long distances).

Palmer products screen adapter, currently fitted with the touring screen. Includes a sat nav mount bar. I also have the standard size smoked screen and a Biondi small screen which is very effective at reducing noise and turbulence but leaves you very exposed.

Cool Covers 3d mesh seat cover. This will fit either the high or standard height seat. The high seat is in the photos.

Capornord Rallye low front mudguard plus pyramid products fends extenda.

Pyramid products rear hugger

Wilber’s +25mm rear shock. You will only want this if you weigh heavy and regularly ride with a pillion as it is built to a very heavy spec. The original shock has only done about 5,000 miles and is as new.

(All the above would cost well north of £3,000 to replace now).

OR

The standard 2019 spec bike with the following extras for £4,500:

Mistral Big Bore exhaust header pipes

Mistral Decat Y pipe

Mistral V twin booster plug

Pyramid rear wheel hugger

moto Guzzi OEM Centre stand

Or, take standard bike as above and….
……take your pick from the following items at the cost stated

I’m also happy to re-install them, or help you fit them either at mine, or at yours if you are reasonably local. I will include the original parts where they are being replaced.

Mistral Carbon End can. £300

Mistral Velocity Stack & K&N air filter £150

Moto Guzzi Heated grips £200

Moto Guzzi OEM Front fog LED lamps and brackets £250

Aprilia Caponord low front mudguard £50

Palmer Products screen bracket c/w sat nav bar. £75

Biondi small screen £50

High comfort seat £100

Cool Covers 3D mesh seat cover £50

Moto Guzzi OEM Top Box and mounting bracket. £250

Bumot Panniers, tool box, QD bottle carrier, and pannier frames £500

Moto Guzzi OEM Tubeless wheels lfront and rear c/w Michelin 6 tyres about 50% worn £700

Moto Guzzi OEM crash bars £75

Wilber’s +30mm rear shock absorber. Set up for heavy rider+pillion+luggage £250

Moto Guzzi OEM MIA Bluetooth interface unit £25

Which all totals around £3,000 so probably better to take the full spec bike.

Note pics include the following items that I will be removing….

Sat nav mount

SW motech rider and pillion footrests.

Roadlok disc lock

The tank bag itself

I can just imagine Steve T lingering by his PC, ready to pounce :p It's been a good bike for you Austin, GLWS it's a real cracker

S'funny you should say that John. Read the sales pitch over on the Tosser site and thought "feck, why haven't I got space in the garage"

Hard decision to make Austin, but you have mentioned the disparity between your previous long distance machine and the V85 before, so heres hoping the Stelvio fills the void that the V85 will leave.

And yes, if I had the space, I'd buy it.

Heres my latest beast - the one that tried to break my foot - out in the wilds this morning . . .
