Wales v Scotland Six Nations Feb 18

Early this year during a party at my son's house, we decided to attend this little affair in Cardiff next year. ( drink can be a curse can't it ? :) )
Anyways, arranged for flights for seven of us, booked accommodation and waited for the tickets to go on sale in November. A real family day out :)

Horrors of horrors, tickets appear to be hard to get.
Eventually, had to join our local rugby club ( Highland ) for sixty quid in order to get a chance to get tickets, wasn't guaranteed  I guess getting seven tickets together was a big ask.

Then today --- taa raa, received a text saying we have been successful and the tickets will be sent out to us in due course hurrahhh :D

Sooo , anybody going to the game and fancy hooking up for a few wee drams, before or after, let me know.
Or even if you are in the area, let me know.

We will be wearing kilts :D

Wales Scotland score then gents?

We are going to win :D:D:D:respect13:

Hopefully going to be a good game, getting mildly excited now.
Just looking at the best way to get from the airport to the city centre now, looking like a big taxi being the easiest option.

Well that 's me packed then.
Working tomorrow 1/2 day then catching the flight Inverness to Bristol, then train to Cardiff  Staying at an Airbnb house close to the ground.
All the family meeting at mine for a few wee drams before the flight, then we're off --- look out Cardiff :D

Getting very excited now , hoping for a good game. Hope both sides put on a good show.
Bizarrely enough, after all the hassle of getting tickets, we are ( all seven of us  ) virtually at pitch level just to the left or right whichever way you're looking :D of one of yon goal post thingys :D

Look out for us ---- we will be wearing kilts :respect13:

I have to go with the Scots coming away with a win.......they have been playing some very good rugby in the autumn internationals and if they keep the momentum going. they are going to be a tough side to overcome.......it's surely going to be a tough one! :)

Nearly time now. I reckon John will be well into the [emoji481] by now. I hope you have a great day. Not envious in the slightest.

Oops. Wales did their homework. Well done boyoz. Irish game was hilarious in the last 10 as an outsider. Today.....England by 20????

Well what a cock up that was.:( We never turned up, simple as that, too arrogant, cocky before the start, didn't bode well. Well done the boyos, we got turned over good and proper, no denying that.
But, on a bright side, Cardiff was brilliant, the Welsh people are great, terrific atmosphere before and after the game, can't fault it as a venue.
My internals are feeling the effects a little now though, from Thursday afternoon until last night was a bit too much to bear :D
Penderyn and Brains beer in Cardiff and Cider in Bristol made for a very mixed cocktail.
So now I'm on " the tack " ( cold turkey up here ) ---- until next weekends Snowman Rally , then the Scotland v France :D ( we'll get pumped again :( )

Would I go back to Cardiff ?
Hell yes

But I think we are planning Ireland next year ?????

Were Scotland overhyped? Will we see a resurgence in later games?

Ireland cut it a wee bit fine eh?
