I've got an L200 that breaks for fun. The 4wd system always packs up in winter, in summer it breaks its heads so rebuilt the engine after it span number 4 big end. Recently dumped all its coolant and left me with this. My old Capris never did this!

    Outrunner

:( This is terrible news, he was always a pleasure to meet at Nationals and led a nice ride out from the Kelso one. I was surprised he wasn't at the National this year so wondered if something wasn't right. RIP Andy, you will be missed, from Ruth and myself.

Where did you get your TM40s from out of interest? Seems there isn't a Mikuni UK dealer list anywhere.

Don't think I have enough room under the tank after finding some dimensions. I think I may just try to get it running as well as I can and punt it on and get DR650.

I always put E5 in my bike, even the car as the E10 feels to have a very slightly rough tickover. I did have the carb out and stripped it right back to all it's individual part and ultrasonically cleaned it. It's never run right since I got it :( Some people fit a Mikuni TM40 as it's a better...

the bike I was hoping to take to the National. Couldn't get it Mot'd in time as I'm rubbish at planning. Had it a while but hardly used it as can't get it to tickover and the revs hang so very clunky/jolty gear changes. Problem is to get to the carb just about everything has to come off, it's...

    UKGSer Dent - May 2017

Wish I'd gone with you two. I missed the official ride out with off road bits as they left earlier than advertised. Since found they started a separate thread about it :( Some nice chap called Stan stepped in and led me on a 100 odd mile run around the back roads of Lancashire, nice roads but...

    Oops!

In my usual style of tardiness I've just discovered this thread. Sounds like you have got it in hand :) Like others, if I can do owt just say. Bit nearer than most and I'm sure I could suffer the trip down the 701, across Talla Fruid and the 708. It would be hell ; -) You could bring your bike...

    OK - I'm hooked!

www.gutsibits.co.uk are a good source of parts. All have owned/currently own Guzzi's and have a passion for them. I have the fortune of a lovely wife but the misfortune of her only wanting/owning Guzzi's :-/
