Picked up my new GSA on Saturday from Dick (I) Lovett in Bristol.

Pretty much the same as the one I chopped in other than cornering ABS I think and some new Euro gubbins.
Busy putting the Akra back on and the Touratech bits and bobs to protect it.

Other one had fared reasonably well over 2 winters, 20 months and 12K miles.

So Dave. How does it compare to your Super Ten? Fowlers were pumping them out for 9 grand new recently (Super Ten) and I know Deano misses his.

Wow. That's a good price. The engine on the super ten is very nice.
Finish is not great on the super ten, my engine block had started to show signs of corrosion despite regular washing and same acf 50 routine as I do now.
The beemer is much more resilient through the salt compared to the super ten. It comes up well.
The beemer has bags more power which don't really need.
The beemer has a few more technology farkles, like electronic cruise control, cornering abs, keyless and gear shift assist. Hill hold / start due on the next model.
It's nearly double the price of the super ten though, so is it worth the difference.... probably not, it's a bit boring, I found that the super ten had more character, but it's a very nice bike.
