Latest delivery of goodies arrived

caad2bb2901ac957f177eb15ba0880a2.jpg

Full set of braided hoses from Venhill. (Ordered yesterday afternoon and here by 10 this morning)

I figured it would be sensible to fit them before I start any paint work to avoid getting brake fluid on nice new paint.

Venhills delivery may be quick but God knows what bike they measured for these kits.

Both front hoses 125mm too short,

Back hose 50mm too long

2 banjos the wrong bend

1 banjo bolt too long

All going back tomorrow to be remade......

What is it with people not supplying the right parts first time....

Ordered some stainless blead nipples, brake pad pins etc. And a stainless filler plug for the final drive.

All the brake bits fit but the filler plug is the wrong thread, so that's going back :(

Ian, one photo is not going to satisfy the forum's premier fettler - now is it?

Any joy (or even excuses) for the wrong length brake lines and incorrect banjos?

No new brake lines or banjos yet :(

Everything has kind of stalled for now waiting for bits to arrive.

not much to post photos of,

progress has been delayed by wrong parts,

the man servicing my shock has been off on compassionate leave

the man doing the powder coating got run over by a dumper truck (feeble excuse if you ask me ;) )

so I haven't done much to photograph :(

Na, looks like some bits are missing.....

yeah and just found my first seized solid problem.

pins in the rear foot pegs, stuck fast so I can't get them off to give them a good clean :(

I have a 50 tonne press at work.....

might need it,

I tried pressing them out in the vice but all I'm doing is marking the aluminium bracket :(

there's nothing hard enough to press against so they may have to stay in and clean round them.

they work fine as the pin is seized in the foot peg and free in the bracket
