So, while we're all fired up from this years National it's time to start thinking about next year

in fact we'd already got a plan of sorts before we'd even left this years

next year the plan is to find somewhere in the borders of Scotland and Outrunner has been volunteered to have a look around (thanks Andy)

we're looking for a site that can accommodate us and has decent facilities but nothing more

hopefully we will be able to find somewhere that is agreeable to letting our resident German bring his dodgy sausage wagon so that we can have our own catering (I think he said something about curried sqvirrel for everyone on the Saturday night :mockery22: )

beyond that all we want is a few locals to put together some rides and we're sorted

so if anyone would like to help Andy in his quest to find the perfect camp-site please step forward

and before you forget Russ,

this year your not doing anything to organise it, you've done enough and it's our turn to give something back

Well said, but vader needs to enjoy the weekend as well but I'm sure we'll sort something.
Looks like taking the fire pit again.

A day out to Edinburgh was discussed. The castle is fab and I'd like to visit Holyrood.

Yes, thanks for that guys ;) I have already started looking into this but finding a suitable site may take some time, not to mention me being very persuasive. :rolleyes2: Anyhoo, I have 11 months and 3 weeks to come up with something.....................how hard can it be?

Andy.

You'd be surprised how much fekkin about it actually is, Andy. I did a bit for the Rosedale national a few years ago and it can be a bloody headache. I'm sure you'll be fine though.

Thanks for the words of encouragement Craig, I think. ;)

Andy.

Andy,

We were talking about a bit further North.
If you want a heads up from me, give me a shout

So, Ullapool it is again? :D

(Assuming I'm back on the road by then...)

Nope

Fort Augustas

But preferably in Andy's neck of the woods, more central for the suvverners :D

Yes keep it as far south as possible for Michel, he needs all the chance he can to make it there! :D

Can we plot him a route with no junctions?

I did stay in a very nice site in Fort Augustus a couple of years ago, It's a smeggin long ride from Essex but I'm up for it if time and work permit,
