Love it!!
Where was the pic taken?
Its Knockan Crag, just north of Ullapool. She was surveying up there and visited for a look round. When she saw the statue (it represents a modern day Geologist) she went back to the car for her survey kit and posed for the photo.
This link describes ths site and location.

Brilliant photo there Traveller. Can't open the blog due to the winds, but I know the area is good for Lewisian Gneiss, one of the hardest rocks in Scotland and possibly uk. Don't ask me how I know
As an aside, found my TV arial, didn't land in the loch which was a bit of luck, got her back up and TV working spasmodically
I'm ok, got a 6 berth twin axle van, the guys next to me have a tourer, they were rockin and rollin last night and probably tonight,ha ha
My choice, I get silly money for staying away and I hate hotels and b&b's, might get a contract closer to home next year ( say that every year), but the sound of the dollar always gets me.
Could be worse, on Skye we had to tie the vans down with ratchet straps. Sure beats the hell out of a luxurious hotel costing mega bucks
Stay cool guys, hope the winds heading your way don't affect you too much
