Came across this site the other day, from a link in another forum, and I must say it's rather useful - Sabre: The Society for All British and Irish Road Enthusiasts.

Hell of a geeky name, but damn useful. Give it a go.

I've only bothered to look at the maps so far, and not looked at the other sections yet.

Very useful could waste hours comparing maps through the years.

Excellent find.

I have also found old Swedish maps from 1828 and forward.
Tried to drive on the old ones around my area and managed to find some of them.
Another reason to go out and use my bike on a sunday afternoon.
