Ian, like you'd complain... Oh no I have to go to Ullapool twice this year, what a disaster...

+1 on Ullapool, I wouldn't mind a second go at the place.

Amsterdam, :mockery22: :mockery22: :mockery22:

Already there five times a week, that's enough thanks. ;) Besides, it's too busy and the roads are crap. :D

no, you're right I wouldn't

trouble is I don't have enough leave to go that far without making it a mad dash and that would probably mean Ruth wouldn't come

so in reality Ullapool is too far for me this year.

we'd been working on the fact the XRV national was planned for Shropshire and that fits in with our plans much better

Now that's better. Phil seemed to think that it was all done and dusted, and then........

Someone wants to go to Ullapool.

Someone else says that they're already going, and can't go twice (Oh no, couldn't possibly go twice in one year :D ).

Another member wants to go to Amsterdam.

Another member (from Amsterdam) doesn't want to go there but would go to Shropshire, but would rather it was Ullapool.

Phil, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE? :mockery22:

Situation normal, then. ;)

Hang on a minute, somethin's not right here....

Over on xrv, it took about a year, lots of polls & lots of arguments to finalise a location.
This has happened in half a day.

It's not right I'm telling you, anyway, I don't want it in Shropshire, Northumberland or Scottish borders anyone :)

If I was to express a preference ...........It would be for Shropshire, I was in Ullapool last September and as much as there's still more for me to explorer in Scotland the idea of Shropshire appeals to me .........
When did ever anyone listen to you? You get even ignored by Garden gnomes :lol-015: (which one was the Hudders smilie again?)

I don't care where. I'll be there.

Given that this is the first big trailie national I do think we ought try and keep it central(ish) so we can be as inclusive as possible.

I think the South Downs.

Never knowingly been there or how about Dumfries and Galloway, that'd be nice, oh yes siree, we could revisit Dent or Takoda.
On reflection, I don't really fancy Shropshire anymore....

Ullapool anyone?

Phil :)

Takoda was ideal from a campsite perspective but I'm not sure of it's a bit far North for some of the southern folk. My view is I don't care where it is as I'm happy to travel but we do want to give as many as possible the opportunity to attend the inaugural bigtrailie National so it should be pretty central membership wise.

What's the matter with Shropshire?

I don't even know where is is. How does it compare to Amsterdam. Do they have prostitutes, canals and legal drugs?

Ireland anyone? :D :D

Runs and hides.....

Actually Shropshire is cool with me. Now, about the dates....
