Hi Guys,

you all know that we lost our friend Rob Harris in January when he felt he had no future and sadly took his own life

Robs wife, Sam, and I are mad enough to be taking on running challenges in October and want to raise some money for Samaritans in Robs name

Sam will be running the Great Birmingham Run Half Marathon and I'm running The Chester Marathon

any spare pennies you have will be gratefully received and you may be helping to save someones life when they feel they can't go on

please donate at the following Just Giving site

Read Ian's story

Thank you on behalf of Sam, myself and all those who will benefit from your generosity

You know my thoughts and feelings mate.
Support you all the way. A £1.00 donation to the Samaritans can, in the future
help change someone's life. Worthy coarse.

Sorted Ian,

Great cause.

On a less sombre story.

My late mum's phone number was 233000.
The local Samaritan number was 223000
Quite often I would come home and find her talking to a complete stranger. At the end of the call all she would say was " well I couldn't hang up could I ?" I think she quite enjoyed it and her sparkling west coast wit I am sure saved the day on many an occasion.

She was an amazing woman.
Good luck Ian
