Thanks, will have a think as ideally I want to put them in a tool tube and they're a bit long for that I think.

What do you want for them?

I have a set. They are very good, I tend to carry four bars much easier to remove tubeless tyres and hard wall nasty ones.

Ian,can you wait till Saturday? I will be looking for something else in the garage and bound to find the tyre leavers straight away :D If i go now in the half dark garage i never find them in all the sh*t i got in there
I knew that would work
One of them fell on my foot :D

Any good Ian? They are the long ones

I have a set of these and they work great but a bit heavy to carry, the curve makes it easy to fit the tyre on with the tube inside in one go. As I swop over tyres a lot I have an MX tyre changer with a foot operated bead breaker at home, I carry smaller levers, spare front tube (does both ends), small bottle of gel, mini pump, MX valve puller & bead buddy all gets used a lot on trail rides.

Ian, I'd go with the long ones from Vader. I have them. Anything less and getting a rear off would be a PITA. The main advice is to get the tyre off as quickly as you can once you get a puncture. A warm tyre is much easier than a cold tyre.

Just wait until you decide to fit a brand new rear tyre in the middle of winter with freezing cold hands and tyres. Then you'll wish you'd spent the previous six months in the gym.
