....."Waaaaa, bump, bang, scrape, sky, floor, sky, floor, ooh ya fecker that's going to hurt"?

That would be a Viffer being chucked down the road after finding some wet leaves :(

they crash well though, just a bent gear lever, a totalled crash bobbin and a few nasty scratches on the fairing :)

picked it up, started first time and rode it home

now, why is the box of ibuprofen always empty

Ouch! Take it easy. Our old bodies take longer to recover these days.

18 years and how many months? :)

Could've been worse from the looks of it, that crash bobbin was money well spent. Still, sucks.

Put some Heidenaus on it for added grip on shite roads? And some old Transalp crashbars... :D

Glad you are ok. Them leaves are slippery feckers. Do check where that bobbin mounts to. While they will absorb a bit of the impact they also transfer it to elsewhere that probably isn't designed to take force from an impact. I know because my son dropped his hornet 250 and broke a casting on the engine where a bobbin was fitted. I
A right bugger to repair too

on these it's an engine bolt that runs right trough to the other side, it'd bent right where it comes through the fairing so doesn't look to have caused any damage

new bit's will be here tomorrow so I guess I'll find out over the weekend
