Is there anyone local to the Shropshire area that is willing to lead some ride outs from the National?

if anyone would like to volunteer and post some ideas here that would be great :)

As the VERY unofficial Shropshire representative for BT and xrv, I feel kinda responsible to repay the favour of so many who I have followed around over the years, usually spitting dust, chippings or mud! :D

Sadly (not for me!!) though, I will be in Catalonia trail riding.... Yeah, I know it's a tough trip, but it needs to be done now that the Picos are off-limits to bikes :(

If it goes pear-shaped between now and then, I'd be happy to take a modest mixed road/trail, or a pure road ride out Ian, all at my modest pace.

Nothing planned yet,

Still hoping someone with some local knowledge will volunteer to lead something.

Failing that u guess some suggestions of routes from the locals would be useful ;)

Shall i maybe get the OS maps for the area, highlight the lanes? Most people have smart phones. Take picture of the lanes you want to do,bingo. This way you also don't need a phone reception to view the maps :thumbsupanim: :thumbsupanim:

I don't mind putting something together but my record of someone always falling off should have you worried (maybe its my turn!). I missed my run last year that I organised! (blame John and a bottle of Grouse  )

Anyone fancy a run to the RAF Cosford museum as I have never been? I'll be up on Thursday so could do Fri or Sat? Free to enter but parking £2.50 per bay so squeeze em in!
