Pennine Way 2014 SIGN UP THREAD

Just a few days to go and I am going to be away with work for a couple of days this week so probably wont have time to deal with any questions after tomorrow.

I have booked the meals as per the Royal Oak thread for everyone except Mack. Mack hasnt posted on any of the PW threads since he said he wanted to come. I have PM'd him but no response so my guess is he is no longer planning on attending. There's no impact on bookings as he had planned to camp.

I should be at the Royal Oak by about 7pm on Friday - work and traffic permitting. If you are there before me the Bunk House and meal booking is in my name: Austin Winckler. We have two 8 bunk rooms reserved for 14 of us. You need a sleeping bag or a blanket here, but both the other bunk houses provide bedding. My wife has said she would rather be in a room that isnt all blokes and has suggested that the two couples (us and Lutins) and Elle, plus one or two from the rest of the rabble have one room, everyone else in the other room. OR we just end up where we end up and we let the booze deal with inhibitions.

The rest of the trip we can plan on Friday night but be ready to be away at about 8am to get to Jellies cafe for breakfast.

umm, that's all for now. See you all on Friday, I am looking forward to this. I think I will bring a nice bottle of single estate Rum for a change

Woohoo, the lightning has been removed from the BBC weather site......to be replaced by the heavy rain icon

My wife always says "for one miserable Mark, just add water" Guess I'll need to pack the grumpy pants!
