Ok

We have 17 confirmed attendees (its not too late if you want to change your mind). They're listed in the other post.

REMEMBER THERE IS NO BEDDING PROVIDED SO BRING A SLEEPING BAG

We will be catering for two breakfasts and a chilli on Saturday night. I will collect payment for this on the weekend as normal.

Friday night food is your responsibility.

If there are any questions pm your phone number and I'll ring you.
 
Some catering type questions....
Can you confirm if there are catering facilities at the barracks we can use on Friday?
Hob, pans, plates, cutlery?
h&c water?
Will there be cups and glasses?
As part of the breakfasts and chilli are you providing tea bags, coffee and milk?
Finally and different subject - showers?

If not I will bring what I need. Thank you.

Austin, I understand that there are kitchen facilities and showers. Will phone the Camp Commandant (fnarr :lol: ) and confirm tomorrow.

As normal tea, coffee etc. will be provided.

Just checked, kitchen facilities are available including cups, plates, KFS, etc. Showers are available.

I will aim to be there with Whealie at lunchtime to get the keys and sign for the place. Therefore avoid turning up if you can before about 2pm.

More importantly I have just ordered some hand muffs for the bike. Heated gloves cable has broken and i must own the only R1200GS in the world with no heated grips :27:

Got Oxford heated grips on mine now. Even they where a bit of a bitch to fit they are much better than the BMW ones :thumbsup:

Hi gents those approaching from Llanelli, Bury Port area be aware of the half a dozen fixed Gatso cameras along the a484 Gwscwm road. From Carmarthen , ferry side road the roads are straight and no cameras. :thumbsupanim:

1000cc plus can join me in the 'Downton Abbey' annex whilst the remainder are allocated the 'Chatsworth' suite :thumbsupanim:

On a serious note I would like to do a whip round and collect a few quid to pass on to the staff for a charity of their choice if nobody has any objections? Although I have never used the facility myself I'm led to believe it's quite nice with a pool room, bar (unstocked before anyone gets excited :( ), etc.

The Commandant is doing me a massive favour which is 'under the radar' so to speak ;)
 
I can't see it being a problem for a charitable donation, I was going to suggest it when we were down there.

No worries.

I assume the BMW riders will be billetted in suitable accomodation, and the rest of us will get a free upgrade too.

Will Hudders & DC get their own Penthouse Suite, with "extras" ?

I'm setting up a basha under a tree outside for Hudders. I was saving it for Vader but now he's not coming....
 
Hudders would fit in a matchbox, so a basha would be like a marquee to him Richie !
