Saturday 6 Dec 14 - Salisbury Plain Green Laning Adventure

Re: Saturday 6 Dec 14 - Salisbury Plain Green Laning Adventu Do you need to be particularly handy off road for this? Very tempted, just trying to get clearance from 'the boss'.

    Garve - Bomb Spotting Run

Looks like a great day out and even the weather was good. Stunning location, I've walked Balnakiel Bay a few times, been out to the range control building and even got out to Cape Wrath once (when they weren't bombing lol!), absolutely love it up there and will definitely try to join you if...

Good plan Paul, I'll see you at the Red Rooster at 1.00, or earlier if you fancy getting off sooner. Then pick whichever of the routes Austin mentioned that seems best. You got a sat nav? Looking forward to it as well. Richard

Really wanted to stay last night, get stuck into a few more beers and then do the east coast today, but duty calls I guess! My first outing of this...

Right Mark, how about meet at Golden Fleece Services on Jn 42 M6 as soon after 2.30 as possible? Could easily be 2.45 as I have to wait for wife to get home from work, but I'll have a stern word with her friday am, and will get there as soon as I possibly can. I'll be the one on the r/w/b...

    Scottish/Northern peeps on Pennine run

Haha, no not mad, just trying to help. You appeared to be looking for inspiration for a roughly south ish route from KL avoiding motorways, that's what I came up with. The a65 will be busy, but I think everywhere will on a Friday afternoon, particularly as we head towards Leeds/manc area. I'm...

    Scottish/Northern peeps on Pennine run
