I've been here 10 years.....my British metabolism went a long time ago. So I could probably sustain it a lot better than the average Brit. But you learn from experience that there's a point you shouldn't go beyond. For me that's around 40. Anything more than that and you risk heatstroke...

We've now had two months non-stop heatwave......40C+ most days! Hottest for 40 years apparently.......and there are numerous cases of people throughout the country dying of heatstroke. The only way to get a ride is go out early.......and keep moving! So I went up the lakes. Too hot to go on...
