I can see a few familiar faces on here from other forums so I thought I'd drop in!

For those of you who don't me, I'm a Welsh boy in Spain.....been here since 2005!

I don't live on the Costas.....I'm 3000 ft up in the mountains of Granada! We have seasons here.....with temps ranging from -20 to +46.

And I have an XT600E which is remarkably clean!

It's a '96 , had 15900 when I bought it 3months ago. I've put 1000 miles on it already, really loving the bike.

That XT looks up to your usual standards

Still a fair bit more to do on it, but it was pretty good nick when I got it.

Plus unlike my Brit XT's this one doesn't have a spot of rust or pitting on the casings! Rust where I live (because of the dry air) just doesn't happen.

I've got a Fiesta that's 20 years old.......and not a spot anywhere. I expect most of the Brit ones have disintegrated by now.

Sorry to hear about the op though........will you be in for long?
