MotoGP on the Telly

Now after the news that BT have the rights to MotoGP for the next 5 years, I was left with no way to watch MotoGP as I'm not in the UK (so no BT) and I wouldn't give sky money even if my life depended on it. Shame really as the Moto2 class racing has been fabulous over the last couple of years.

However, there is some hope. ITV4 will be showing highlights of the MotoGP races, but unfortunately not the lower classes. So, first highlights show is next Monday (24th) at 8pm for highlights of the Qatar race.

As far as I can ascertain, ITV 4 will still be showing BSB with Jamie Whittam and Jack Burnicle and the TT highlights with Craig Doyle so I'm happy. I'm not too fussed about Moto GP as Dorna has created a completely meaningless rule set and wrecked what was once a straight forward formula with everyone on equal machinery.

Yep, ITV4 will still be showing the domestic superbike championship. Shame it's only highlights though. Mind, for total carnage there's always Touring Cars - or if you're uncharitable "the Jason Plato benefit series".

That's great,I gave up my BT phone line and broadband account last year after a load of problems with them.I use my phone as a tether now,3G and it's almost as good as BT ever was. My web bill is now £15 per quarter as apposed to BT's £140 line/broadband (I never used the phone line ever)

There's a sports bar in Piccadilly,but I don't fancy that for every race. Well done ITV then ?

I did exactly the same "Lutin" great coverage by BT Sports via Cricfree by linking my Netbook to my TV....bit of buffering but really good coverage and comment by Keith Heuwen and Julian Rider, with interviews by James Toseland and Neil Hodgeson, I will be glued to it this afternoon. Well done Bradley Smith qualifying on the front row, with a time very close to Marquez. should be close racing. .....Jim
