Where do you use for your music downloads to your phone? ITunes, Play or freebies site?

Middle of traveling for work and I have no tunes on the phone ..... The kids use iTunes but I have never got into them I'm cynical about them [emoji33] and I am a bit of a techno-foob when it comes to mobile data. Can you drag me to the mobile side? :)

I use both Spotify (cheapskate free version with annoying adverts) and Amazon. Obviously on Amazon you can buy and download MP3s, and if you buy CDs, many of them come with "Auto Rip", which means the Amazon Music app can download the MP3s straight to your smartphone.

I use Google play. Tenner a month and it works seamlessly with my windows pcs and Android phones and it caches plays (or I can download albums) so no need for a data connection when I'm out and about.

The free version lets you upload about 10,000 of your own tracks up and then they are all available to play on your phone. Not really needed for the premium version above but handy if you already have a big mp3 collection and don't want to have an ongoing subscription
