You're bad influences!

i remember Devils Lake road but glad I rode it in the dry. I don't like them gravel roads when wet.

We are having the most excellent Indian Summer here in the UK. Wall to wall sunshine for about the past 2 weeks and temperatures reaching a giddy 18c. Perfect biking weather - we have been out on the bike to North Wales, Lake District and through the pennines to (just) Southern Scotland. No pics though I'm afraid.

As the leaves start to turn I've been settling in to this 'bigtrailie' thing and have put close to 600 miles on the clock (I haven't had much of a chance to ride - busy with work :thumbd: ).

I'm liking it a lot. I have a 500 mile weekend coming up (conference at Lake Huron) so I've added some plastic panniers and the inevitable beaded seat cover  . With any luck, I should hit the leaves at their peak as long as they don't all get blown off :D . Stay tuned for some more pics.

Nice video.

Is that a sidecar I spy at about 2 minutes in? Is (was) it for stability purposes in iffy conditions?

Yep! I've had two sidecars on the Eldo. This Sputnik

and this Jawa/Velorex

Not great videos, and I've no idea why the first one stutters, but you get the idea - and a lot of fun, although the salt/snow wash is hard on the bike. :sidecar:

Sold since I put the link up anyway. It was £3000 and a funny yellow & grey colour. 70,000km. I thought a decent price if it was in good condition with history etc.

Too bad, but I paid half that for mine with 25,000 kms and I don't think it had ever seen rain. They seem to go for $3-4000 on this continent, regardless of condition.

Wow, that was a real bargain then. I have never seen one before yours and this one - and that's only pictures too. They may not have been officially imported into the UK.
