It's not the 750 x is it, that is supposed to have sorted the grumbles and complaints of riders, better abs and more power? I had a very short little spin on one last week but i found it too small for me. The engine did feel very nice and sounded good too, the same as the 700.

I didn't think you were that keen on the nc700.

After my first ride back when they were released I have to admit to being underwhelmed mainly by the finish of the bike.

However, the one you see in the picture, a 2013 reg bike on a '62 plate, is very clean and has been looked after by the first owner for all of the 1611 miles he rode it! :thumbsupanim:

Having stripped it down and applied ACF50 to everything in site, I can confirm that the machine has been made to a price . . . . . but for the price I paid, it pushes my buttons :D and it will serve well as a general run-around and commuter. Be very interesting to see how it stands up to a winters use. The F8GS went through 3 winters and you wouldn't have known it to look at the bike. Time will tell

No Steve, just the humble 700 version.
What are these "grumbles" you speak of? Trawling the net this morning for the best priced centre stand and I find you face staring out of the pages of the NC forum! You lurk in some strange places, dont you!

Got the 650 Alp at the same time. Been sitting in the dealers for quite some time, so when cash was waved, price came down accordingly and I am now the owner of an '06 plated Alp with a full, documented service history, and only 18k miles on the clock :D .
It's currently undergoing a full strip down, inspect, lube and service of all the essentials, with a planned-back-on-the-road date of early next month :D

Must go - pay-back time has arrived and I've to take the Boss shopping in Inverness
