Grand Canyon area

Had a couple of weeks circumnavigating the Grand Canyon. Sorry no bikes but interesting checking out the dirt roads in and around the area while I was out there. There are 2 crackers on the north side heading the north rim of the canyon...the Toroweap trail (approx 60 miles) and the drive to Point Sublime (18 miles) look excelllent..took the team along about 6 miles of Point Sublime before heading back in the hire SUV. There are loads of crackers in and around the town of Kanab. This covers the Bryce canyon and Zion Park (also spectacular) area and there are various dirt roads in the area. I notice there is a company renting out Beta bikes over in Moab which is an option to fly in and ride....but be warned it was hot! Spring or Autumn would be the time to go......better start saving

Kanab. I am sure we stayed there or passed through there last year. We saw the point sublime route from near the north rim visitor centre but didn't attempt at it as we were two up and you know who does not like tracks as pillion (or as a rider come to that).

It's a great area though.

Sent from my iPhone with a smile :)
