The film that is. Being a big science fiction fan I was really looking forward to seeing this. As a cgi/technical exercise it was OK, made the being in orbit thing look really good but as an entertaining film it was sheeite!! :( No spoilers but the wage bill for actors must have been pretty low. :whistle:

I watched it last night and agree it was visually good but I can't make my mind up about the rest

I think it needed to be seen on a big screen

Isn't that the way of most Hollywood blockbusters nowadays? Story fits on a coaster, but visually and technically stunning. And in 3D obviously, if only to charge the premium.

Don't know about the big screen :confused: but that kind of story has been done many times.

Saw it in 3d on a big cinema screen and it was amazing.......your right though the story was crap.

Watched in HD and the effects were good but I'd guessed the story in 5 minutes and knew exactly how it was gonna end. Typical hollywood drivel but it passed some time on a rainy day.

don't even bother with the new Thor, I nearly fell asleep...
