The film that is. Being a big science fiction fan I was really looking forward to seeing this. As a cgi/technical exercise it was OK, made the being in orbit thing look really good but as an entertaining film it was sheeite!! No spoilers but the wage bill for actors must have been pretty low.

Isn't that the way of most Hollywood blockbusters nowadays? Story fits on a coaster, but visually and technically stunning. And in 3D obviously, if only to charge the premium.

Saw it in 3d on a big cinema screen and it was amazing.......your right though the story was crap.

Watched in HD and the effects were good but I'd guessed the story in 5 minutes and knew exactly how it was gonna end. Typical hollywood drivel but it passed some time on a rainy day.

don't even bother with the new Thor, I nearly fell asleep...
