Hello?

That's my quiet Saturday ruined.

I was going to say it's just you and this is the two hundredth post on here today rather than the second hehe, then I started thinking about things more seriously and remembered that for some very peculuar reason, this forum seems to function a bit different from most other forums I am familiar with, In that not all posts appear in the 'recent' list on the home page :(

To demonstrate this point I'm now going to comment on this post...

Hudders @ NOT RECOMMENDED!! (powercases.com)

And see if the topic is bumped up to the top of the home page like one would expect...

Yep, my suspicions are confirmed and my bump of the above topic didn't bump it onto the homepage :( Anyone else noticed this happening or rather nor happening?

Well, your post in the "Not Recommended" thread is showing up under "View New Posts".

But yes, I agree that it is quiet in here today.

Maybe it's just the winter blues? :(

Cheers guys, perhaps its just that I'm not privileged enough :(

Are you folks moderators / admin perhaps?

I use the View New Posts link to see what's happening and that seems to work OK. I think most forums ebb and flow with activity. It gets busier on here when something big is going on (like Phil getting Vanessa up the duff). :) Maybe we need more BT Trailie pregnancies ( no good looking at me :rolleyes2: ).

forums are like that . you need the occasinal stir up to get things going , its PMS at this time of year i think (Parked Motorcycle Syndrome ) and yes at our age Lulu the pregnancy thing is not gonna happen eh

You don't see your own post in the New Post lists because they are not new to you - the software (foolishly in my view) assumes you read what you wrote.
