Loomies is another bikers cafe. Situated in Alton, it's ideal for those in the South. Bike nights are Wednesday nights, and are on all year. Summer bike nights are on till 10pm.

I've not done this Cafe, so will be looking at doing it sometime soon. I work just north of Basingstoke, so I would go from work. Who would be up for a meet here?

I've been a few times for cuppa on a Sunday.

Mainly sports bikes and Harley's/Goldwings, including three-wheelers with reverse gear. Also you get some muddy green laners and quads.

But the cafe was rude and unfriendly when I asked to leave some leaflets, unlike most other cafes. Never replied to my email either.

I have to go past it regularly so happy to meet up there and try again.

Okay mate. Bazza and I are on about meeting up there sometime. It's more for a change of scenery and to ride some decent roads. Will let you know when were going down.

I've found Loomies to be rather rubbish. The food is mediocre at best as is the service if you're not a regular.

Whenever I've been there have always been a few knob jockies, who do wheelies away from the lights and up the hill just outside the cafe.

If you fancy heading out, how about Salisbury Bike Night. We went last year and had lots of fun. Clear ways cafe, nr Figsbury Ring on the A30 London Rd. about 2 miles from the outskirts of Salisbury. 1st Thursday of the month.

It's run by, I think, the local Hells Angels chapter. They were great. A small group of us went, and we saw a couple of other AT owners there. It is mostly guys in leather with tassles and scary looking women, but they were very friendly and welcoming. The organisers made a point of coming over and introducing themselves as we were obviously "outsiders".

Food was good and cheap (burgers & chips) with tea, coffee and soft drinks.

Here's a link to their facebook page.

I'd definitely recommend going along.............as long as you don't have a tassle phobia :mockery22:

I went along last Wednesday night and it was a good night, granted mainly sports bike but was a good mix of all types.

Met a couple of BMW lads and another guy called Robbie with a very nice 12 reg KTM 990 all blinged up for a trip abroad.

All in all I was there for about 3 hours and had a good night.
