MOT related question

Ok nearly got the old girl ready for her MOT, after refurbing the calipers just need to reinstall and get a new front tyre.

The question is: I have a couple of cracks on the bottom corner of my near side wing mirror, is this an MOT fail?

I think the answer will be yes, as if it's fitted it's got to be in working order. Is there a cheap repair option?

Well, the obvious one is to remove it (or both mirrors) for the MOT.

Halfords do complete mirror-on-stem £10 each. Alternatively they also sell stick-on mirrors that go over the broken glass. The shapes are mostly for cars, but you should be able to find something to suit, perhaps with a little trim here and there.

Thanks for the reply's, will look for a suitable stick on mirror as the mirrors are integrated it looks damn odd with them off.

Not sure what model/age your bike is but there are mirror glasses on Ebay.
