me and Ruth are going on Monday,
tried to win tickets but ended up having to buy some this year
first time I've paid for tickets in 3 years so I can't complain too much I suppose

Is that the NEC fair?
I'm going there again this year, arriving late friday, visiting the NEC on saturday and roaming Birmingham on sunday before flying home sunday evening.

I went today, saw Ian & Ruth go in but they were just out of ear shot.
Great selection of bikes & dollys
WTF has happened to new bike prices, anything remotely fancy is 15k, are they really three times the bike of something like the wee stroms?

Shame we missed you Phil, we had a good day, mostly playing the 'spot the bike small enough for Ruth' game
She's decided she doesn't like the CCM anymore but has fallen for the Ducati Scrambler......
We bumped into Mark and Ruth towards the end of the day and had a chat (good to see you guys)
Had a good natter with Sam Manicom and Nathan Millward.
Tip for anyone else going, don't buy tea and coffee from anywhere, it's free for everyone on the Honda stand.

Hi Ian, you & Ruth were just going in to the hall, I was sat outside taking a call.
You could have had a shave!
Tea and coffee is free (with donation) on the Suzuki stand, looked like on the HD stand too
I have given up buying stuff from the demonstration sellers at shows - it always looks great but never is! So did my best not to make eye contact with them & resisting temptation to buy super absorbent cloths, drill bits that drill anything and last a lifetime & glue that will glue anything stronger than the stuff itself!
I did however come home with a bunch of pamphlets like you do and an edz Merino wool shirt along with too many replacement bike ideas which is never good.....
