Yes, that's right folks. You can read the delights (and pitfalls - plenty of those) of manhandling 1970s Moto Guzzis along isolated roads in northern Canada from the safety of your own bath tub.

The Kindle version is still available, but the paperback has just been released on Amazon:

Beyond the Coffee Shop: Riding 1970s Moto Guzzi Motorcycles in Northern Canada

Thanks for your indulgence.

Thanks Austin. One day!

BTW, I don't know where you will be around then, but there is a Guzzi rally near North Bay, Ontario that I will be attending (28-29th August). It's a low profile affair, ALL bikes are welcome (Guzzi riders can't afford to be too choosy), and you and Anne would be a star attraction. No rally fee, cheap camping, centred around a bar with good, live music.

If you're interested, PM me for details.........and where the heck are you anyway?

Hi Nick, thanks for the suggestion and sounds like a good idea as we could then explore Ontario properly for a week before returning to Montreal on Monday 7th September. Not sure about the star attraction bit though.

We are currently in Southern Montana having been in Yellowstone for a few days and over the beartooth pass - yesterday was probably one of the best rides in my life. We are now planning how to avoid all the Sturgis traffic. Everywhere is rammed with bikers and Iran rammed. Silver City on the west side if bear tooth was like a scene from a 60s biker movie and the KOA campground we are on must be 90% bikers with an awful lot of trailered bikes. All very well behaved and very friendly and early to bed too, although it was thunder storming from about 8.30pm. I think Cody Wyoming next for the weekend then ???

It's the slow wifi at the campsite. I can't always tell if a post has gone or not. And thanks for the news about the water.
