So a few of us where talking about it at the National and talked about Rosedale.Cool campsite, good roades, pretty places to visit.
But Mudwiz quite rightly said "We been there" and than said why not the Chilterns?
No idea where that is.Still got to google it :D

BUT Mudwiz said there is a trail or two near by :cool2: :cool2:
Just saying,if Mudwiz is happy with a trail i am fecked :D

So anyone got any ideas of places we have not been to?

Amsterdam was mentioned and Rubberchicken and his good lady said we can camp in their neighbous garden :D
Its only a short ride away from Amsterdam Centre

Only crap roads around here though and no trails worth mentioning.

Wouldn't mind Rosedale again, that was a nice site and general area. Nicely central as far as north-south goes.

Chilterns seems awfully close to London? But if there's trails, how bad can it be? :)

Also, the Malvern hills, might go for a look next month at the meet. :) Mind you, getting anywhere civilised to look after this bunch might not be easy.

Malverns is good. I went to an ABR rally camping in the spring at a pub just south of Malvern town. It was a good spot.

Malverns sounds good, it seems a shame to start revisiting places for the National IMHO.

A place we've stayed at a couple of times that has been ok location & facilities wise is Hales Hall, Cheadle, just outside Stoke (not far from Alton Towers).
Quite a pleasant site with an on site bar & burger van, Cheadle is walkable & they are ok with marquees etc, I think you can rent statics/lodges too.

I know a really good campsite in Wales between Barmouth and Harlech. Great setting and camp fires are
Allowed ( Hudders ).

Not sure they will allow Hudders to enjoy his pyromania but they serve good food in the pub and when ABR have been there they've laid on breakfast for those that have pre-ordered. Limited showers and toilets but was never a problem when I was there.

Yes, the track is a good laugh but like Mickey said, there are no facilities whatsoever.

Oh and hello young lady :mockery17:
Bit rich coming from you :rolleyes2: :rolleyes2:
Hudders are you calling Vader a young lady? I agree that after a drink or two he does become more attractive, but not quite a young lady.
