Kevin, park anyplace you like, it's very informal. Austin did you say you may do some ride outs ? I went out on two runs yesterday (no sat nav) I was lost and didn't know where the f*** I was half the time.

It just an open field with a few allocated pitches for electric hook ups around a couple of the sides. For rallies they usually just indicate roughly where to camp so we are together, your van will probably be able to park in that area if you are camping. If sleeping in the van you’ll need a separate pitch. Just drive into field and park somewhere so you aren’t obstructing stuff until told what to do with it.
Thanks Austin.
I'll have a tent and bike in the back.
See y'all later.

Yeah, I will do a ride out or maybe two. Probably to the south into the little known Forest of Bowland and/or a ride taking in lots of very very small lanes. In fact I think I can do it all B roads or less. All tarmac but well off the beaten track.

Hire van delay....pissed off but apparently ready for 2pm.
Won't be leaving till around 3, I guess.

Probably be dark if I stop on the way but I'll be there in time to rehydrate for a few hours. :)

Sorry all, due to a family bereavement I'm not gonna make it this time. Mothers in Law are capable of thwarting plans from beyond the grave. Hudders make sure someone eats my pie n peas for me. I will be mostly watching the RWC at home

Have fun, hope to see you all next time

I got back about an hour after I left. It was a bloody brilliant weekend. Big thanks to Hudders for doing most the organising, John for having a convenient and big birthday, Bob for being a great auctioneer, and everyone for being such good company. Debs, the cake was yum.
