Ab Fab weekend. HUGE THANK YOU to Hudders for setting it up and sorting all the other stuff out, to Debs for the cake, to the tour leader on Fridays run . . . a good bit of it on roads I've not traversed before. And finally to everyone that was there - thanks for making a sunny weekend even brighter with your presence and banter . . . even if I couldn't understand some of your accents

Ok Ladies and Gents guys and gals, I have purchased two of the best tickets for the Stadio Olimpico for the Italy Scotland 6N (24) game in March, for the birthday boy and his missus. Whatever money was left out of what we collected, will be transferred into John's account and will go towards his flights/hotel or whatever else floats his boat..... have fun John and, if you have joined the 21st century, please whatsup me your email address so that I can email you the tickets in PDF. If not, I will post them to you via standard mail....

Normally when it rains, my bike gets cleaner. Not this time...
Pete seemed to be fairly pleased that he didn't have the dirtiest bike.

On Friday we had a nice spirited ride out

Saturday, another grocery run. (My wife had sent me a shopping list)
I do love me a track with grass and shite in the middle of the road.

Small roads to Hull
The trainspotter camping out here told me the Flying Scotsman would be along at around 1 pm.
It would make a truly nice picture...
But given that it was 11 am, I decided against waiting.
Sheep!

Back home. In one piece for a change.

I did find out that my satnav apparently uses the wildly aspirational British speed limits to determine my ETA in Hull. So my take-it-easy 3.5 hour backroad bimble turned out to be more like 6 hours. Woops.
