I set off at 9.00 AM this morning for a run up the east side for a change, a nippy 3 degrees when I left home but it warmed up after about 1 hour on the road. After I got across the Forth, sorry, Queensferry Crossing the sunshine was making the day look good.
The flatness of Fife near Freuchie.

Stopped for a coffee at the Tay Bridge viewpoint.

A sign of the times, the oil industry is not what it was, 5 rigs parked up there just down from the bridge.

Going through the middle of Dundee the traffic was not as bad as I have seen it, once through it was on to Meigle and on to Glen Isla which takes you over to the Braemar/ Perth road.

Pity about the bike being in the shade, but it was the only safe place to stop there.

Then it was time to head home, back down through Blairgowrie to Perth, again with very little traffic. Instead of taking the motorway all the way I came off at the Bridge of Earn junction and took the long way through Glenfarg, Milnathort and Kinross rejoining the M90 at Kelty.
This is looking across towards the Loch Leven area.

All in all, a rather pleasant 278 miles in the sunshine.

Andy.
