Hmm, haven't had proper bad weather at sea in a long time. I do remember having to wait outside Dover for a few hours before things had calmed down enough to get into the harbour, but that's been a while. People were looking a bit funny by then.
HVH-Harwich is usually pretty quiet when I'm on it. (This is not an invitation to prove me wrong in a couple weeks time!)

We ought to buy you an industrial size fridge for Christmas. You could set your tent up in it, put you bike in and stay there for weeks at a time. Even in summer.
