Ride/snow/weather report NE Scotland

Hi all, I had a small ride out on the wee Bonneville on Saturday, and as SteveT was planning leaving before 9.00 I decided to go later in the day after the drink from mad Friday had worn off!
It was nice to ride at this time of the year without full winter gear on and no heated grips required! I stayed in the East of the country and saw no rain at all, there was very light drizzle heading into Tomintoul as I passed through but dry otherwise. Today was much the same weatherwise, blue skies and sunshine in the morning, struggling for double figures in the morning, but certainly not what I'd expect for the Highlands of Scotland at this time of yr!
Any way, here's a link to a few pics on ABR as usual! Enjoy!

More to the point --- have you managed to get the front wheel airborne yet ???

Or is that assumption purely hypothetical ;)

Nice one Jim.
Maybe catch up later on

If not have a great and prosperous New Year

Hi Ian, the Bonnie's a bike with character for sure! I still think it would make a better café racer than a scrambler in all honesty as the weight and balance is all wrong, but Yes, I am enjoying it as a plodder, you can spur it on when necessary, but it's not an exciting bike in any light!
John, if I catch it right, yes I can get it to wheelie, it's very nose heavy, a lot of weight on that front wheel but once up, well,,,,, you know!!!! ;)
It's a nice runaround, sounds nice and oozes character, but tank range is poor, 100 to 120 miles to the light on, and the seat would as well be a plank!
I'm looking forward to the arrival of my new Africa Twin, bring it on! It'll wheelie for sure! Lol!
