Harley Davidson 1990 FLHTP the Police version of the Evo FLHS touring model that became the Road King a few years later.
The bike has done 47700 miles has 7 previous owners is taxed and MOT'd to September 2014
The bike was registered new in UK, not known if it was a demo or a special order?
All the Police specific lamps etc have been removed although the handlebar switches are police type and the saddlebags have 'puck' locks. The engine pulls well, lots of grunt throughout the rev range, are police engines tuned? .
The exhaust system is good with original early Evo type silencers, I think they are police ones as they appear similar to those I had on an earlier (85) FLHP.
The machine has both a solo police saddle and a dual seat with detachable pillion footrests and a removable topbox. (not a Tourpac).It takes about 20 minutes to change from dual to solo and vice versa. Topbox about 5 minutes to fit/remove (3 bolts)
The bike is currently set up with dual seat and topbox.
Selling as wife prefers the pillion on the Ultra Classic with the wraparound backrest so has to go.
The solo saddle is a genuine HD police saddle but later than 1990 the seat suspension is by a 'Kong' unit and original T bar. The frame trim cover is a replica from aluminium covered with foam and vinyl not the original plastic. The dual seat is the correct seat for 1990 with a long nose.

Cibe headlight and LED rear light
Air Horn
Heated grips
Alpha-Dot security marking
Wider mirrors (note some pictures show short mirrors these are NOT now fitted to the bike and are NOT available with the bike)
The bike has recently had a new alternator stator and battery.
The bike will be supplied with the V5 and MOT documentation and a CD containing digital copies of the Harley Davidson workshop manual and a parts listing.
The bike can be viewed daytime or evenings with notice, I am retired so can generally be home, however I may be away for some days at a stretch.
