SOLD A Triumph 2007 Scrambler a carburettor model that I have owned from new.
It has covered 8224 miles, generally 1000 to 1500 miles each year, mainly good weather country road riding. I am now using my Transalp for many of the rides that I used the Triumph for so have decided to sell the Triumph, It has a new 12 months MOT.
During my ownership I have added some extras and modifications to the Scrambler. Most of the modifications are reversible, bolt-on/off depending on the user preference.
These include:-
Engine bars, Centre stand, Rear rack with saddlebag on nearside.
Bagster tank cover,(tank OK underneath) , Monza fuel tank cap
Heated grips, hand guards, clock and brace on handlebars
Ignition switch repositioned to improve accessibility Short screen and headlamp protector
Progressive rear shocks and front springs.
Sumpguard, oil radiator stone guard and front mudguard Fenda Extenda
Offroad style footrests, Optimate socket, also used to connect satnav usb power lead
K&N air filter element
Procom Igniter, it replaced the Triumph unit that failed 3 years ago.
The bike has been security marked with Alphadot
(it will only load it as landscape!)
The bike will be supplied with V5C (buyers part), MOT history, and owners manual and a CD containing a digital copy of the service and owners manuals the parts list and articles gathered from the internet.
The bike is in good condition with good tyres, about 1500 miles old.
The engine covers have some capillary lifting of the lacquer, a common problem apparently, but the underlying alloy is not pitted.
The exhaust pipes are blued, they did that before the air injection was removed at the first service and the silencers have blued at the catalyst.
The bike may be viewed daytime, evenings or weekends, with prior notice I can be home most times as I am retired. Although I am occasionally away holidaying for a few days. I am located in Dursley Gloucestershire a few miles south of M5 junction 13
