At the Stena ferry terminal at Cairnryan last Friday there were two KTM 990s, one a 2012 model and the other a 2014. Both of them very shiny, new tyres etc etc. Blokes riding them ignored everyone else on a bike. Bit odd.
Come loading they roared onto the ferry and then had to have help from the crew to strap them down as they clearly hadn't done it before. I rolled up after them and had the Transalp strapped down before they'd finished faffing about.
Once we'd got to Belfast, the two KTM riders removed the straps and seat pads and then simply dropped them on the deck. Didn't even look round to see if there was anywhere to put them - just dropped them where they were.
Clearly, they are above such trivialities.
